考研英语中各种奇奇怪怪的词都出自哪里？大纲翻遍也没有这个词呀！大纲中的5500词就是列个寂寞，人家外刊作者写文章，才不会从这里选词。不过，生活嘛，学习嘛，总是能不期而遇。 

disposition 这个词第一次出现在2009年考研英语的翻译第48题中，并在篇章的最后一段重复出现。

(48) While it is easy to ignore in our contact with them the effect of our acts upon their disposition, it is not so easy as in dealing with adults.

2020年英语（一）的翻译题中，它再一次出现，不过没有作为出题对象。

小天狼星这里说自己变狗狗很温柔时，用到了 sweet disposition。disposition 在《朗文当代英语词典》中给出的第一个释义=temperament，a particular type of character which makes someone likely to behave or react in a certain way. 上面翻译题中用的就是这个含义。
比如比较容易紧张或是敏感的人就可以说是 people of a nervous/sensitive disposition，如果是比较乐观阳光的性格也可以是 have a cheerful/sunny disposition。在招募志愿者类的小作文中，你也可以写上一句：Volunteers of sunny dispositions are preferred.之外，它还有 inclination 的意思，来表示倾向性，比如 have/show a disposition to do sth。以及 arrangement 的含义，如 the disposition of the enemy fleet 敌方舰队的部署。当然了，这些含义都来自 dispose，在正式文本中表示 to arrange things or put them in their places。可素，我们最熟悉的是 dispose of 来表示 get rid of 的含义，还有它的形容词 disposable 来表示“一次性的” “可丢弃的”。

说到在影视剧里邂逅考研英语中的内容，可真不少。
